Mel’s love for costume grew out of her childhood obsession with different arts, cultures and music. From a young age she was always doodling, daydreaming, designing and creating, leading her to study textile design and fashion.

She has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has worked on a large, eclectic mix of projects. Comfortable with all sizes of jobs and budgets, she brings her hard working, friendly attitude and creative eye to any project she works on.

She has worked on big ad campaigns , commercials, film,  music promos and fashion shoots.  Clients have included Yohji Yamamoto, Virgin, Facebook, O2 and many others.
